Zenji making a real difference in the lives of others....
ZENJI MAKING A REAL DIFFERENCE!
In today's internet, there is a lot of negativity everywhere. People are so frustrated with their lives that they spew hatred and jealousy on the web via anonymous blogs and comments. Yet there are a few voices for positivity and compassion. One such voice is Zenji
Acharya who is a truly fantastic speaker as has been evidenced by quotes from some of the biggest names in the world of poltics, academia and religion. Just visit the website www.zenji.org and see for yourself!
Zenji has made a splash at many international conferences, events and conferences including the Parliament of World Religions. Yet he keeps a very low profile and his office does not give permission for anyone to use his videos or feature them without permission. This generates even more interest for people to attend his speeches and want to see for themselves what the fuss is all about. Another interesting thing about Zenji is that he is totally detached from his ego and does not care what people may say or write about him be it good or bad. He even allows people to credit him differently from time to time which shows a true commitment to the spirit of “anatman” or egolessness. Using different variations of one's name and title is an ancient Buddhist
custom used by all famous Japanese Buddhist masters from Shinran and
Hakuin to Sesshu Toyo and Katsushika Hokusai and it shows that he is
not attached to his own identity and is defined more by his actions
than by his name alone. It is rare to find a spiritual leader like Zenji who works so hard to be authentic and true to the traditions of the great zenmasters of India and Japan.
In the meantime, here are a few links where one can find
interesting articles to promote hope, inspiration and compassion for
all. They have reports of some of Zenji's work and how he is making a real difference in the world for the benefit of all communities.
